 The Quantum Soccer Center will be holding a indoor referee refresher / re-certification / certification clinics on the following date and time:
Only certified indoor soccer referees will be used at the Quantum Soccer Center. It is important to make certification a mandatory requirement of the facility in order to ensure standards of game management and of professionalism. At the beginning of 2008, we had 31 local certified indoor soccer referees in West Virginia! Nine of those 31 sought assessments and upgraded to State indoor referees. We must continue to grow our numbers to make up for losses due to attrition and the forecast growth of indoor soccer in the area. Officials will be paid by check at the end of their games. Action required: Read the details below and advise me if you intend to certify or re-certify as an indoor soccer referee. USIndoor has authorized me to conduct referee certification / re-certification / upgrades for the Quantum Soccer Center. The final clinic date is noted above. The cost for certification is $60/referee, and $45/referee ($50 State) for re-certification. Registration will be done at the clinic. New referees who are certified at the clinic will receive an Official Rule Book, Blue Card, Referee Badge (to be attached by Velcro to the ref’s jersey), insurance, a subscription to USIndoor’s Referee Newsletter and to GOAL Indoor, and membership in USIndoor, among other things. If you are receiving this e-mail it is because you are already a certified indoor official that will need this clinic to extend your membership benefits into 2009 or you have been individually selected to join this small group of unique professionals. I need to hear from you soonest as to your desire to certify / re-certify. I will use this information to pre-order material for the clinic so an accurate count is important.
